Lime Energy and Nexxus Lighting Collaborate to Provide Energy Saving LED Lighting Solutions

Lime Energy Company and Nexxus Lighting, Inc. have recently announced their cooperation to install the new Array™ Lighting LED of Nexxus in numerous projects of Lime Energy to provide customers with energy-saving and environmental-friendly products.

Through its long history of evaluating and installing energy efficient lighting applications, Lime Energy has been a leader in applying LED systems in commercial lighting applications, with thousands of LED solutions having been installed successfully by the company in resort hospitality, casinos, and business hotels. In several recent hotel projects, Nexxus Lighting’s Array LED light products have been selected by Lime for installation.

The new Nexxus Array LED technology has satisfied the customers of Lime Energy with its excellent performance in reliability, color rendition, beam patterns and dimming capability, and has helped the hotel clients save energy and reduce carbon emissions, said Cliff Knutson of Lime Energy and a 23 year veteran of energy efficiency.

Providing over 80% energy savings comparing to conventional incandescent lamps, Nexxus Lighting’s Array LED light bulbs have been installed in a number of applications including hallways, lobbies, stairwells and elevators as well as conference rooms and offices.

An Energy Star Partner and one of the technology leaders in LED lighting, Nexxus has provided direct input in establishing the Energy Star Standard for LED lamps that is currently being drafted. Nexxus Lighting and its Array Lighting brand meets required quality and performance standards. The packaging of the Array Lamp provides detailed labeling information to make sure prospective customers clearly know the products in terms of light output, color, color rendering and lifespan.

“We are very excited to be working with Lime Energy to help their clients lower their energy bills and adopt a new eco-friendly product offering,” said Carina Betts, National Account Manager for Nexxus Lighting. “The projects that have been installed so far have validated the products performance and with more projects in the pipeline, we look forward to working with the team at Lime to meet the demand for energy efficient lighting with an LED solution that we feel is superior to other LED lamp offerings today.”
