Raytec Teamed up with Harco to Develop LED Lighting in Middle East

Recently, LED lighting systems manufacturer, Raytec has confirmed a major distribution agreement with Harco at the beginning of 2010 to improve the performance of CCTV systems in the Middle East.

Since then, Harco Group have deployed Raytec illuminators at a number of high security sites including government and police facilities, industrial buildings, shopping centres as well as private security buildings and villas.

According to Steven Carrell, Sales Executive at Raytec , high temperature variations, dust, sand blasting, and the challenge to deliver excellent night time images in such harsh conditions are the key issues that are encountered at sites in the Middle East .

He introduced that, "the advanced 'Cool Running™ thermal management system' integrated into all Raytec products, draws heat away from the LEDs and shields them from abnormal stress. "

"We have managed to secure some of the most prestigious projects in the region, with Raytec illuminators" confirms Roger Ghostine, Regional Business Development Director, MENA at Harco Group.”

He said,"With a demanding CCTV market like the Middle-East, it is important for us to deliver the latest innovations. With both Infra-Red and White-Light ranges, Raytec is allowing us to give our customers the best solution for any application."
