“Travelling Light” :Lighting Industry Association Announces 2013 Regional Seminar Programme

The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) announces the schedule for its 2013 regional seminar programme.  The seminars are being hosted in conjunction with sponsors Recolight and Lumicom, the lighting industry producer compliance schemes.

Taking place from 29 April to 2 May, the “Travelling Light” seminars will be held in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.

The programme will deliver CPD approved presentations on the latest lighting technology combined with updates on impending legislation and standardisation changes that will affect businesses dealing with lighting in the next year.

The sessions will include an update on changes to the UK WEEE regulations, which are currently being formulated by the Government, so the seminars also provide a timely opportunity to hear views on the proposed changes, which will help to form the industry’s response to the Government Consultation on this subject.

These seminars will be of interest to lighting manufacturers, users, specifiers and installers of lighting and all are welcome to attend.

The venues for each date are:

London     29 April
Birmingham     30April
Manchester    1 May
Edinburgh     2 May

The seminars will run from 10.30 to 1.30 on each day with refreshments and a buffet lunch provided plus plenty of time after lunch for one-to-one discussions with presenters.

For non-members of LIA, Lumicom and Recolight there will be a small charge of £25 plus VAT, (Total £30 payable by credit card).
