NTL Lemnis Awarded Preferred LED Supplier Status to Light up Yum Restaurant International

This includes all new stores and replacement in old stores commencing with KFC, and following those of Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.

The Pharox range of LED lighting by NTL Lemnis, a JV company of NTL Electronics of India and Lemnis Lighting Netherlands has been appointed as the preferred lighting supplier for Yum Restaurant International.  The Pharox range has been found and cleared of all the performance and quality requirements including Tempo 21 test.

Tempo 21 is the suite of twenty one thermal, electrical, mechanical, photometric and  optical tests for a finished LED fixture or replacement lamp and provides the most comprehensive LED luminaire testing available.

“This is yet another  landmark in our quest to provide reliable energy efficient lighting alternatives to the world, It will not only help the usage of environment friendly, energy efficient lighting but also help in our endeavour to be the preferred choice of high consumption lighting institutions” says Mr. Arun Gupta, Global CEO, NTL Lemnis.

While the parent company will be handling all the backhand support in developing these products, the front ending will be done by NTL Lemnis Africa (Pty)Ltd, the African arm of the parent company with headquarters in Centurion Johannesburg.

The USP of the “Pharox” range of products is that they are direct replacements of conventional lighting solutions, at market acceptable prices, without compromising on the quality of light. The focus is especially on industries such as Retail, IT, Hospitality & Healthcare.

Keeping in mind the current energy deficiency across the world and the changing mindset of people and institutions alike, Pharox LED range of products is ideally suited for high consumption industries and clearing.

“Tempo21 clearance for our Pharox range showcases our expertise in providing specifically designed products that cater to each and every aspect of the clean and green energy. We are happy that Yum Restaurants International has chosen us as a preferred vendor for the lighting needs of their restaurants”, says Mr. Francois van Tonder, MD, NTL Lemnis Africa.
