Qnuru™ Celebrates Milestone Shipment of 2,000th LED Light Bulb for High Intensity Discharge Luminaires

Vector Product Family of LED Light Bulbs Save Over 3 Million Kilowatt Hours of Energy for Businesses, Schools and Municipalities Across the U.S.A.

Qnuru™ announced the retrofit of its 2,000th commercial light fixture with the company’s product line of Vector LED Light Bulbs.  Designed to retrofit over 95% of all high intensity discharge luminaires, Qnuru’s Vector LED Light Bulbs have saved customers over 3 million kilowatt hours of energy, the equivalent of unplugging every home in the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin for a day.

Qnuru is also celebrating the 3-year anniversary of the creation of its core LED and solar-enabling technologies which were incubated within the clean tech laboratories of its parent company, The Noribachi Group. The company’s innovations include patent-pending LED application and power management technologies used in its product family of LED retrofit light bulbs and new luminaires, and its Universal Light Control processor which intelligently regulates current/voltage levels in the company’s 100% solar fixtures, and manages seamless power switching between solar-powered batteries and the grid in Qnuru’s hybrid solar/grid luminaires.

“The market is voting with its savings book,” said Rhonda Dibachi, President and CEO of Qnuru. “Our LED replacement bulbs are the only game in town when it comes to the most energy-intensive commercial lighting fixtures, in particular 250, 400, 750 and 1,000 watt LED retrofits. In every instance, we have improved our customer’s light quality, slashed their energy consumption by up to 85%, eliminated the need to change lamps and ballasts for 5 years or longer, and contributed to their environmental bottom line. The power of our LED lighting and solar-enabling technologies has truly propelled us light years ahead of traditional manufactures whose business models are based on selling short-lived, inefficient, maintenance-intensive lamps.”

Commercial LED Upgrade for Any Light Fixture

The Vector family of 35 LED Light Bulbs fit most major commercial and industrial light fixtures, including lighting brands offered by manufacturers such as NSi Lighting (NYSE: NSI), Lithonia Lighting (NYSE: AYI) and Cooper Lighting (NYSE: CBE). They are installable by a licensed electrician in less than 20 minutes, offer an average investment payback of 24-36 months and carry a 5-year warranty.  Based on Cree (Nasdaq: CREE) XLamp® LEDs and Qnuru’s patent-pending Universal Lighting Control Processor and Common Lighting Unit design, Vector LED Light Bulbs provide retrofit solutions for most lighting applications, including high bay and low bay lights used in warehouses and production facilities, canopy lights used in retail petroleum stations and covered parking garages, ornamental and historic pole-mounted lights for roadways and plazas, bollard and pathway fixtures for parks and public spaces, floodlights for security and building illumination, and interior and exterior recessed down lights.
