Pharox LED Bulb Launched by Lemnis Lighting

This April, the month of the 40th World Earth Day, Lemnis Lighting has released a new energy-efficient LED product, the Pharox LED bulb. The bulb developed using the most advanced lighting technology produces light equivalent to that of a 40Watt incandescent bulb, while with only 5W of energy. And the life-span of the bulb reaches up to 50,000 hours or approximately 35 years.

The Pharox bulb is compatible with standard fittings and has a stylish design that looks more like a traditional incandescent bulb, yet is 90 percent more energy efficient and lasts 50 times longer.

CFL bulbs have been regarded as the most energy-efficient light source by many experts, but they contain harmful levels of mercury which makes them difficult to recycle and dispose of. In contrast, Pharox LED bulbs are completely recyclable and mercury-free while lasting eight times longer than CFLs.

“Lighting accounts for up to 20 percent of our global energy consumption.” said the company chairman Frans Otten. “This Earth Day, if every American household switched four 40W light bulbs to Pharox LED bulbs, the United States would save $113 billion in energy costs over the lifetime of the Pharox bulbs.”

The Pharox bulb from Lemnis Lighting is currently available at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com).
