Digital Lumens Appoints New Global Sales VP

Digital Lumens, the market leader in intelligent LED lighting systems, today announced the appointment of Steve Ronneberg as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Ronneberg joins Digital Lumens from Montreal-based Grass Valley, part of St. Louis-based Belden Inc., which delivers end-to-end television production and content distribution solutions to meet the mission-critical network infrastructure needs of broadcast markets.

Prior to Grass Valley, Ronneberg held senior executive positions across the Belden brands, including Vice President, North American Sales, where he was responsible for the entire Belden North American Sales organization, managing North American Channels, Inside Sales, and Sales Operations. Previously, Steve was Vice President, Sales, and Industrial Solutions Division at Belden, responsible for Industrial IT, Industrial Connectivity and Industrial Cable solutions across North America. Before joining Belden, Steve spent 19 years at Rockwell Automation in executive leadership and global account management positions in the Industrial Discrete and Process Automation markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University.

In addition to Ronneberg’s appointment, Digital Lumens announced the promotions of Scott McClintock to Vice President of North American Sales, and Jason Rakip to Vice President of North American Channel Sales. McClintock has responsibility for Digital Lumens’ Value Added Resellers (VARs) and strategic accounts, and Rakip manages Digital Lumens’ network of manufacturers’ representatives and distributors.

Scott McClintock is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over fifteen years of professional work experience in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, non-profit and hospitality sectors. He joined Digital Lumens from Atmospheric & Environmental Research, where he served as Director of Relationship Management, and was previously Vice President of Sales at Nexamp. Scott holds MBA and BS degrees from Cornell University.

With a successful track record of almost 20 years in the traditional lighting channel, Jason Rakip came to Digital Lumens from Philips, where he was the Director of Sales managing Philips Color Kinetics' U.S. network of manufacturer’s representatives and distributors. He joined Philips with the acquisition of Color Kinetics, where he held sales operations and management positions. Jason holds a BA degree from Wheaton College.
