Taiwanese LED package manufacturer Ledtech recently released their fiscal 2013 financial report. The company benefited from strong growth in profit margin in both their Chinese white household product and lighting product business, which drove up revenue in 2013.

Consolidated revenue rose to NT $1.75 billion (US$57.4 million) in 2013, an increase of 4.85 percent YoY. Net profit was NT $159 million, 3.23 times higher than last year. EPS grew 3.29 times to NT $1.33 compared to 2012. Consolidated profit margin was 29.27 percent, a YoY increase by 2.15 percentage points. Consolidated operating profit ratio rose by 3.68 percentage points from 2012 to 10.16 percent. 

Ledtech hopes the good revenue performance experienced in the second half of last year will continue into 2014. Consolidated revenue for 4Q13 was NT $408 million. Although first quarter was the slack season for the industry, combined revenue for Jan. and Feb. was NT $252, slight growth from last year’s same quarter.
