Katy Perry Shows Off to be Released Ashish-Topshop LED Sneakers

American artist Katy Perry is no stranger to experimenting with Avant-garde and futuristic clothing. Having being spotted onstage and at a Met Ball in 2011 in flashy LED outfits, the artist has added a new LED sneaker to her lineup of brightly colorful wardrobe.

The shoes that are to be released as part of the latest spring-summer fashion collection is a collaboration between Ashish and British affordable fashion clothing line Topshop.

"In a way I think the LED lights are almost like light-up sequins,” said Ashish in an interview with fashion magazine Vogue. “Sequins are like a long-term love, this collection is like my holiday fling!"
