Aura Light Appoints New Regional Sales Manager in UK

Swedish lighting experts, Aura Light, welcomes Craig Herriott as its new Northern Regional Sales Manager, as the company continues to expand its UK operation.

Craig Herriott joins Aura Light with an extensive background in sales and business development, which he has gained across various roles, including running his own company. Craig’s new position is one of many created in the past 12 months, as Aura Light sees very successful growth in the LED market and the launch of its new Lighting as a Managed Service scheme.

Simon Taylor, Managing Director at Aura Light UK commented, “We are really pleased to have Craig on board to take care of our sales and customer service in the Northern Region. His experience in lighting sales and consultancy is very valuable to us and we are sure that it will help with the growth of Aura Light in the UK for many years to come.”

The new sales manager will be permanently based in the Northern Region to attend to local customer enquiries. This allows Aura Light to offer a dedicated service to customers in the area.

Craig started his career in lighting whilst working as a Senior Engineer at North Lanarkshire Council in the Roads & Lighting Department for 14 years. He then took a career change into sales and worked for several different companies before launching his own company, Herriott Consulting. It is in this role that Craig developed an extensive knowledge of LED lighting. Craig has worked with and helped numerous lighting distributors to develop and expand their presence in the lighting market.
