Inventronics Launches Family of 347-480Vac Input 150W Constant Current LED Drivers

Inventronics has announced the release of a broad array of 150W constant current drivers for LED lighting applications.  The ETC-150SxxxDT(ST) series includes 16 different models with output currents ranging from 580 to 4200mA.  Regardless of the output current, each model offers a full load efficiency of 89-91%.  These products all operate over a 312-528Vac input range and provide excellent power factor correction (0.95 at 347V).  They provide a cost-saving and compact solution for ultra-high input voltage applications, which are now using a low input driver with a step-down transformer. This new series is approved to UL8750 and UL1012 safety standards and it also complies with the FCC’s EMI standard.

The high efficiency of these drivers enables the products to run cooler, significantly improving reliability and extending product life.  The lifetime of these drivers is calculated at about 145,700 hours when operating at 80% load with a case temperature of 60°C.

The combination of high efficiency and long life makes the ETC-150S Series an ideal choice for street and area lighting projects where the justification is based on energy savings and lower maintenance costs.  In order to insure trouble-free operation in these applications this product family also features robust lightning protection as well as over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection.  The rugged aluminum housing is IP67 rated allowing for use in indoor and outdoor applications.
