Osram Adds DRL Kits to Aftermarket Product Range

Osram have extended their range of aftermarket fit DRLs meaning drivers can now add a DRL function to their vehicle, transforming their car into an eye-catcher and ultimately increasing road safety.

The new additions to the Osram LED DRL range include the world’s first FOG DRL - giving an even light output and 3D light guide technology, and the reasonably priced LEDriving PX-4 DRL. This standard sized FOG DRL fixture has been designed to replace most modern fog lamps and incorporates a fog light, a DRL function and Assisted Cornering - a function which is unseen in other aftermarket DRL Kits. The FOG DRL creates a wide beam angle providing an increased field of vision and has a unique gravel resistant lens, to ease concerns over stone-chips.

At the lower end of the budget, the new LEDriving PX-4 DRL kit provides a bright solution with a modern dotted-diode effect and is easy to install thanks to its compact design. With an RRP of just £79.99 inc. VAT it is the perfect solution for anyone who is seeking a DRL function at an affordable price.

Also available in the Osram DRL range is the LED LIGHT@DAY DRL with its stylish design, it is the first Osram retrofit DRL with light guide technology; and the LEDriving PX-5 is an ultra slim five LED DRL, with automatic dimming function.

All the DRL Kits in the range have been designed for self installation and every kit includes comprehensive step by step fitting instructions. Certified to ECE and SAE regulations makes them approved for use on public roads. IP rated makes them weatherproof and ready to tackle extreme car washes and all weather conditions.(Please see Youtube for an installation demo.)

Osram turns driving into self-expression offering an aftermarket LED DRL solution to suit most makes and models of vehicles at a price to suit all budgets. Whilst it is not a UK requirement to fit a DRL function to a vehicle that does not currently have one – drivers might like to think about the increased road safety benefits from having such a function.
