Full Lineup of UHD 4K Curved LCD TV Displays with Wide Color Gamut

AUO will exhibit a whole series of 42 to 65 inches UHD 4K Curved LCD TV Displays with wide color gamut, integrating UHD 4K (3840x2160) ultra high resolution, curved design, wide color gamut technology of over 100% NTSC color saturation, and super narrow bezel. The curved design fits viewing habits of human eyes, creating a concave screen that offers a wider viewing angle and immersive viewing experience. The lifelike and near-panoramic images make viewers feel as if they were actually in the scenes. The curved screen shows obvious contrast next to its conventional counterparts in its design, accentuating its differentiated feature.

Regarding professional monitor displays, AUO will debut 27 and 32-inch curved LCD panels featuring high contrast, wide viewing angle AMVA technology, and super narrow bezel design. Supporting high color saturation of 100% sRGB, the panels revive image colors and allow users to examine objects in the screen thoroughly. The displays are designed for professional graphics, image processing, medical, audio-video gaming and industrial purposes.

World's Highest Resolution(*) AMOLED Panel Makes Its Appearance

AUO pioneers in releasing the world's highest resolution(*) 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED panel for smartphone with resolution as high as 2560×1440 and 513 ppi to deliver brilliant images that are extremely crisp and full of details. The ultra slim 5-inch HD720 in-cell touch AMOLED panel is only 0.57mm thick. AUO applies special driver design to increase touch sensitivity and as a result can support 10 touch points. In responding to the latest trends in wearable devices, AUO capitalizes AMOLED's slim, high contrast and power-saving features to develop 1.6-inch Wearable AMOLED panel for smart watches. It addresses consumer needs to wear for long periods of time and use in the outdoors.

Car Displays with High Resolution and Wide Viewing Angle, Designed for Diverse Driving Conditions

AUO has long dedicated itself to the development of car displays to meet the growing trends for smart cars. In this exhibition, AUO will introduce 12.3-inch AHVA LCD panel for dashboards, which is currently the largest in size and highest in resolution(*). It has a resolution of 1920x720, high color saturation, high brightness and fast response time under low temperatures. The panel can function stably and show clear and complete information to the drivers even under drastic climates that shift from scorching desert to snow-covered land with minus 30 Celsius. Also featured with wide viewing angle, high brightness and high tolerance to temperature, the 7-inch AHVA panel adopts AUO's full lamination technology for car displays to achieve low reflection, providing clear images for drivers and passengers even under strong light.

Integrated Touch Solutions and High Resolution Mobile Devices Enhanced

With large-sized and high resolution screens becoming essential for smartphones, AUO has launched a series of 5.2 to 6.5-inch high resolution displays adopting AHVA technology and LTPS (Low Temperature Poly-silicon) process technology. The narrow border design punctuates the viewing effect and slim profile of smartphone screens. Among these displays, 6-inch WQHD (2560x1440 in resolution) ultra high resolution smartphone display has the world's highest resolution(*) for currently mass produced smartphone displays. In addition, 7, 8 and 10.1-inch panels for tablets with WUXGA (1920x1200 in resolution) will also be on display. Following the successful introduction of eTP integrated touch solutions, AUO has further developed 5, 8 and 15.6-inch touch panels adopting oTP solutions to offer even better touch functions and viewing experience with its full lamination design.
