Lutron Showcases Quantum and EcoSystem Range Extensions at Light+Building 2014

Lutron Electronics Co. Inc. will be showcasing its new Quantum® and EcoSystem® range extensions at Light + Building 2014, as well as the company’s latest LED dimming solutions, guest room capabilities, RF window treatments and faceplate style additions.

Smooth LED dimming control and intelligent shading

Lutron will be launching EcoSystem 5-Series LED driver range extensions at the show. The EcoSystem 5-Series LED driver provides an affordable solution for smooth, flicker-free dimming from 100% to 5%, and guaranteed control system interoperability within Lutron’s Ecosystem®. An expanded international high performance fixture list will also be showcased.

Also on stand will be Lutron’s new Radio Shadow™ sensor, QP4 Hub and DIN Rail panel for commercial applications as well as the recently launched battery powered roller blind solution, Sivoia® QS Triathlon. The new Radio Shadow wireless sensor communicates outdoor light levels to Lutron’s Quantum Total Light Management System and, during low-light conditions, the sensor overrides pre-programmed shade levels, raising shades and maximising exterior views and daylight harvesting. Lutron’s new QP4 hub combines a shade power panel and a Lutron Quantum processor into one component, reducing cost and installation time.

David Ribbons, Director of Sales Northern Europe and Africa at Lutron, comments: “Light & Building 2014 gives us the perfect opportunity to show our full range of residential and commercial solutions, as well as demonstrate our systems’ capacities to smoothly dim LEDs and maximise energy savings through daylight control and interconnectivity. In addition we will be announcing new alliance agreements that strengthen still further our guest room capabilities.”
