LED Expo Thailand 2018: Connect Your World of LED with iLight Connect

April 2018- LED Expo Thailand is gearing up for its new edition on LED technology, products & lighting. Organised jointly by MEX Exhibition Pvt. Ltd. and IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the Expo is scheduled from 10-12 May 2018 in Bangkok. The participants would get the opportunity to attend International LED Summit, which the organisers have decided to take to the next level with iLight Connect.

iLIGHT CONNECT: INTERNATIONAL LED SUMMIT

The Summit will be based on case studies, discussions over the latest trends, innovations and technology in both interior & exterior rifts. A panel discussion will hoist the influences and issues that designers, owners & operators come across when it comes to implementing the LED technology.

With main focus on ‘Future of LED’, the Summit will witness individual speakers and panel discussions tackling the concerns that designers, owners and operators face in implementing LED technology as well as the opportunities that LED provides us today which we did not have in the past. Contemporary issues such as smart lighting and the IoT will be discussed. Furthermore, compliance with new regulations, codes of practice, as well as environmental and wellness issues will be addressed.

All these are grouped under four separate themes to be addressed under four-summit sessions:

  • Lighting Festivals - Beyond the Wow Factor

  1. Renowned speakers like James Wallace (Perth Australia) & Martin Klaasen (Principal KLD, Singapore & Australia) will talk about The Future of Lighting - and where are we now?
  2. Lear Hsieh (Principal of MS Design and President of CLDA, Taiwan) & Carry Yu (GM/Design Director CSLC, Chongqing, China) will discuss Smart Lighting - Opportunities and Constraints.
  3. Johan Moritz (Snr Lighting Designer, City of Malmo, Sweden) & Kjell Hult (Alingsås, Sweden) will focus on Lighting Festivals – Beyond the Wow Factor.
  4. Bangkok local government official & Dr. Acharawan Chutarat (BioArchitek/KMUTT) will throw light on City Light – Planning a Night-time Economy.

Presentations in the Summit will be of the interest to delegates from various facets including architects, interior designers, urban planners, city officials, property developers, government agencies, operators and owners, engineers, representatives of design/engineering associations, and many more from the lighting industry.
