Edison Opto unveils high lm/$, high efficacy and energy-efficient products in 2012

Edison Opto has established in 2001 and become the Taiwanese leading LED manufacturer. In 2012, Edison Opto joined the industry-wide Zhaga consortium and established a LM80 approved laboratory which was certified by UL in product safety and performance. Since the third quarter in 2012, Edison Opto has implemented the large-scale integrated system – SAP to strengthen Edison Opto’s competitive advantages in LED lighting industry. With regard to product development, Edison Opto has unveiled many high lm/$, high efficacy and more energy-efficient products to satisfy customers’ different application demands.


The highly-inquired product – PLCC 3014 & 5630 series have excellent luminous efficacy. The PLCC 3014 series can reach 110lm/W under 0.1 Watt (30mA). While the PLCC 5630 series can also reach 110lm/W under 0.5Watt (150mA). Besides, the PLCC 3014 & 5630 series are designed by particular package for reflow process application which can accelerate the speed of manufacturing process. In addition, the slim and miniature size of PLCC 3014 & 5630 series make it flexible to use in a variety of applications, such as general illumination, flashlights, spotlights, tube light and freezer lighting.

Moreover, to reflect the market trends, Edison Opto has successfully introduced the EdiPower II HS Series which is a high brightness COB component product. Under 24 Watt (1500mA), EdiPower II HS Series can reach 2800lm. It provides a better solution for high wattage products. Due to the innovative technology, the high performance EdiPower II HS Series products can be applied in many fields such as LEDs Light bulb, down lights and track lights.

For large area lighting, Edison Opto has launched an energy efficient lamp – 150W LED high bay which provides high brightness and superior light quality. Under 3200mA, the 150W high bay can reach 12000lm. Besides, the 150W high bay has the advantages of energy efficiency and long life time which can save the maintenance costs and power consumption. Edison 150W high bay now provides two angles (70° and 140°) which can satisfy various application demands, such as Industrial lighting, large outlet, gymnasiums and other indoor lighting.

Edison Opto has been developing the products which fit the market demand and environment protection actively since their establishment. In the future, Edison Opto will make good use of company resources and intensify the operation mode of LDMS.
