Design LED Products Ltd is attending Lux Live 2014 for the UK launch of the world’s thinnest Shelf and Backlighting solutions. LED Design's thinnest shelf lighting. (LED Design/LEDinside)

The Shelf product family is the world’s thinnest shelf lighting solution available as a cost effective 2mm thin light tile or a high quality 6mm luminaire offering superb integration possibilities.  The new lighting units are robust and easy to install in lengths up to 5m, to give high quality product illumination free from glare and multi-shadow artefacts. Shelf luminaires can be connected sequentially with a maximum of 10 driven from a single recommended ECG.  The power inlet module has a capacitive switch option with on/off and three-stage dimming together with cable interconnects allowing the luminaires to be daisy chained around shelf mounting brackets or other obstructions.

The Backlighting and Signage product family is an ultra-thin, mechanically flexible, efficient solution for backlighting applications.  The double-sided system is customisable and can be cut to specific lengths.  Backlighting applications benefit from world class efficacy in flat or curved formats from the high density 300 x 400mm or low density 300 x 400mm options.  Modules in the Backlighting family can be tiled in a zero-width border arrangement for large area illumination and can be trimmed by multiples of the LED chains.  The process of trimming and tiling supports backlighting of almost any form factor enabling fascinating, novel signage opportunities in a fiercely competitive market.
