MaxLite provides the nostalgic look and warmth of Edison-style filament incandescent bulbs with the energy-saving benefits of LED technology in its new Filament Lamp Series.

Designed for retail, residential and hospitality applications, the line of vintage lamps includes a full range of decorative bulb shapes (A19, ST18, T14, G30 and B11) to complement ceiling, pendant, wall, and post top fixtures. The lamps are constructed of a tinted, antique-looking glass cover and visible linear LED filaments that deliver the warm, amber glow of their incandescent counterparts, but offer a much longer lifetime of 15,000 hours. All MaxLite LED filament lamps are UL listed and dimmable with standard incandescent dimmers.

“With the trend of lighting fixtures that partially or fully expose the bulb, filament lamps have become a favorite of interior designers and homeowners,” noted Product Manager Alex Truong. “We are excited to be able to offer decorators and luminaire manufacturers an energy-efficient version of this very popular bulb style.”

The 6.5-watt globe and glass-tipped ST18 styles have a light output equivalent to that of a 60-watt incandescent bulb, while the 4.5-watt A19 and tubular T14 styles are 40-watt equivalents. While the entire filament series is available with a medium base, the 2.5-watt clear glass candelabra lamp is also offered in an E12 base to replace 25-watt incandescent bulbs.

The LED Filament Lamp Series also includes a Silver Bowl A19 lamp designed for use in open pendants. The 6.5-watt A-lamp is topped with a half-chrome bowl that redirects light upward into the pendant's shade, preventing a displeasing glare on the surface below. Offered in a warm white, 2700K color temperature, the 60-watt equivalent lamp delivers 750 lumens.
