Hubbell Control Solutions Unveils Dimmable LED Relay Module

Hubbell Control Solutions has announced availability of the wiSTAR™ 0-10V Dimming LED relay module. The module, and other additions to wiSTAR line of self-powered wireless controls, features EnOcean technology. Hubbell Control Solutions leverages a history of innovation to create future-proof lighting controls.

The new 0-10V dimming relay provides a greater level of controllability and energy savings. It links to a variety of wiSTAR self-powered input devices. With no batteries and no wiring to worry about, the input devices can be placed anywhere. Compact motion sensors and rocker switches utilize solar cells or small kinetic energy-harvesting switches. A standard on/off switching relay is also available.

The new ceiling-mounted daylight sensor utilizes a solar cell to harvest energy from indoor light. It communicates wirelessly with the 0-10V dimming relay enable daylight harvesting.

Also available is the Navigan™ commissioning software. It makes for easy linking between multiple sensors, switches and relay modules--program an entire room at one time. The software and devices connect via ultra low power RF communications, using technology from the EnOcean Alliance. The Alliance's 902 MHz standard is well established for building automation. It creates simple and easy-to-install energy savings as well as convenience.

The maintenance-free wiSTAR system is optimal for indoor applications, such as zero energy buildings. The relays, sensors and switches are perfect for stand-alone room-level set-up. They also network to building automation systems such as BACnet through standard gateways. Perfect for indoor lighting in new construction or retrofit applications.

Product is available now. Find information on wiSTAR wireless lighting controls at www.hubbell-automation.com. Also follow the brand on Facebook and Twitter for the latest news and updates.
