Hubbell Outdoor Lighting Launches New LED Parking Garage Fixture

Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, announced today that Hubbell Outdoor Lighting has introduced an all new LED luminaire for parking garages—the GSL. The brand has also expanded two of its most popular LED product lines—the Dusk-to-Dawn (DDL) and WGH LED wallpacks.

An energy-efficient alternative to 150 or 250W metal halide fixtures, the GSL is designed for a range of ceiling applications with eight to fifteen foot mounting heights including parking garages, walkway or building canopies, corridors, tunnels and large stairwells. Available in two lumen packages ranging from 4,500 to 6,100 at up to 81 lumens per watt, the GSL includes field configurable symmetric and asymmetric high performance lenses to optimize photometric performance in a single SKU. With a vertically finned cast aluminum housing for maximum heat dissipation, the GSL delivers a long and reliable life with up to 72% energy savings over legacy products.

Hubbell Outdoor Lighting has also unveiled two new versions of its LED Multi-purpose Dusk-to-Dawn luminaire to accommodate even more applications. The new high output DDL for higher mounting heights features 5,279 lumens while delivering an industry leading 121 lumens per watt. The lower output DDL gives users the choice for lower power consumption with 2,906 lumens at 97 LPW. Both of the stylish LED luminaires feature multiple distributions, zero uplight performance and versatile mounting options in a single SKU.

In addition, the outdoor brand has expanded its WGH LED wallpack family to include higher lumen packages for both the medium size, and a new larger size to replace existing traditional 250-400W sources. Equipped with borosilicate glass refractors that spreads light and provides uniform and low-glare perimeter illumination for safety and security.
