Lumileds introduced the LUXEON CZ Color Line, a product line optimized to deliver maximum punch. “The LUXEON CZ features up to 48% higher punch than any other undomed color LED,” said Jennifer Holland, Product Line Director of the LUXEON Color Family. Lumileds today introduced an upgraded LUXEON 5050 that sets the standard for high lumen per watt (lm/W) for high bay and street lighting applications. With newly released LM-80 reliability data, the product also meets DLC Premium V4.1 requirements, enabling fixture manufacturers’ access to high utility rebates and energy savings.

LEDinside, a division of TrendForce, reports that the global ASP of LED light bulbs continued its slide in October. Compared with September, the ASP of 40W equivalent LED light bulbs fell by 1.7% to US$6.2. The 60W equivalent counterparts also saw a 1.7% decrease in their ASP to US$7.4.
