Jaipur, known as the “pink city” in India with its buildings covered with pick facades, were lit up by Osram’s LED luminaires. The city castle and the surrounding avenues were installed with about 6,600 LED luminaires, including linear light systems such as the Traxon Nano Linear Allegro and floodlights for planar lighting such as the Traxon Washer Allegro. The luminaires create an enchanting atmosphere for the historic city.

Viswanathan Ashok, Head of Sales at Osram Lighting Solutions India, said, "We have constructed something that didn't previously exist. The new lighting bathes the old city centre in a particular splendor."

In Paris, the iconic Eiffel Tower will be dressed in Japanese light in a special light-up event during Japonismes 2018, a cultural festival held by Japan and France to mark the 160 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Eiffel Tower will be lit up with 18 Panasonic image projectors and 120 Stanley Electric special gold LED floodlights to show the beauty and advanced technology of Japan on September 13th and 14th, 2018. The project was designed by two Japanese female designers, Motoko Ishii and her daughter, Akari-Lish Ishii.
