The decision fell for Regulus because the individually addressable lights which allow the adjustment of both brightness and colour temperature offer an attractive mix of flexibility, comfort and reduction in energy consumption. The new lighting solution not only supports a large variety of conference needs, it can easily be adapted to new requirements through programming of new scenes, no further construction work is necessary.

Simply by replacing the old fluorescent lighting with Regulus LED lights, power consumption was already reduced by about 50%. Individual addressing and dimming of the smart lights allows for further reductions, supporting the city government in its environmental efforts.
