Semrock Launches LED Light Engine Filter Sets

Semrock announced newest fluorescence filter product family with LED Optimized light engine sets. Three initial sets are available for Pinkel and full multiband configurations using popular LED light sources. Designed to be spectrally aligned with the output of popular LED light engines, all of the new filters offer the high performance and value you expect from Semrock filters.

LED-DA/FI/TR/Cy5-4X-A was designed in particular for use with DAPI, FITC, TRITC, and Cy5 in Pinkel quad-band configurations, with a quad-band beamsplitter and a quad-band emitter, plus four "no burn-out" single-band exciters that are intended to be mounted in the LED based light source. All configurations are available preassembled in a microscope cube.

The new LED filter sets are available for theoretical modeling using the Semrock Searchlight online toolbox. Comparative data on the benefits of the new LED Fluorescence filter set family versus conventional sets designed for standard broadband light sources such as mercury or xenon arc lamps are available here.

All sets are in stock and ready to ship next day. In addition, these offerings can be custom-sized in less than two days and are covered under the ten year Semrock Warranty. Additional LED light engine optimized sets will be added to the line-up throughout the summer.
