Nuventix selects Nypro as manufacturing partner for Synjet products

Nuventix, Inc., innovator of SynJet® active thermal management solutions, today announced it has signed a Manufacturing Services Agreement with Nypro Inc. Nypro provides plastic injection molding and turn-key assembly of Nuventix products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nypro will perform new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing services for Nuventix. Nypro will provide development and design for manufacturability support for the SynJet electronics cooling products from its headquarters in Clinton, Massachusetts and factory in Suzhou, China. Nypro may also manufacture SynJet LED thermal management technology in additional factories around the world based on demand, including EMEA and North America.

“Nypro uniquely offers design support, and the company understands our LED thermal management technology,” said Jim Balthazar, president and CEO, Nuventix. “These two attributes, combined with Nypro’s global presence, make Nypro the perfect manufacturing partner. With Nypro, we will meet the increasing demand for active thermal management solutions of high powered LED lighting.”

Nuventix’s superior thermal management products are used for highly reliable cooling in a variety of electronic applications such as LEDs, consumer electronics and telecom solutions. These products are needed because when today’s faster, more powerful, and more complex electronic products are placed in innovative enclosures, they push the limits of today's cooling technology. The air-cooled, quiet, and fanless SynJet products from Nuventix quickly dissipate heat in these applications.
