Cree Lights up Brazil with Manufacturer’s Representative, LED Brasil

Cree, Inc. Wednesday signed an agreement with LED do Brasil Comercio de Produtos Eletronicos Ltda. to promote the sale of Cree LED components in Brazil. Brazil is the 10th largest energy consumer in the world and the 3rd largest in the Western Hemisphere, behind the United States and Canada.

“We see great potential for LED lighting in Brazil,” said Paulo Taminato, LED do Brasil Comercio de Produtos Eletronicos Ltda. Commercial Manager. “Later in December, we are holding a seminar about designing with Cree LEDs and the response has been overwhelming. I believe we can help reduce our country’s energy consumption for lighting with the deployment of energy-efficient LEDs.”

“Led do Brasil will represent our LED components, from high-brightness to lighting-class XLamp® LEDs,” said Vince Feorenzo, Cree sales director. “We look forward to spreading the LED lighting revolution in Brazil, demonstrating how LED lighting can save energy, save money and help protect the planet.”
