ETi Solid State Lighting Inc. Announces DesignLights Consortium Qualified 4’ Integral Linear LED Tubes

ETi Solid State Lighting Inc. announced the addition of two 4’ integral linear LED tubes to the DesignLights Consortium® Qualified Product List (DLC QPL). ETi’s 4’ integral linear LED tubes offer a brighter, more efficient option to replace standard fluorescent tubes.

Fluorescent tubes have dominated commercial illumination in American ceilings for more than 50 years – more than 2.3 billion tubes are installed, according to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). That installed base provides a huge potential retrofit market for solid state lighting and LED technology.

While both of ETi’s DLC listed 4’ linear tubes are 18 watts, the 1800 Lumen, CCT 4000K, 82 CRI 4’ integral tube (Part number 54145041) delivers 100 Lumens per Watt and the 1900 Lumen, CCT 5000K, 83 CRI 4’ integral tube (Part number 54145061) achieves 105 Lumens per Watt efficacy. Both products are a great solution for retrofitting existing fluorescent fixtures in industrial and commercial construction, meeting rooms, hotel/motel locations, offices, museums, galleries, shop windows, and restaurants.

“We are pleased to announce that our 4’ integral linear LED tubes are DesignLights Consortium Qualified products,” said David Rubin, President of The Americas for ETi Solid State Lighting Inc. “ETi supports the organization’s goal to ensure high-quality, energy-efficient lighting design becomes commonplace in all lighting installations.”

Rubin continued, “The addition of these linear tube products to the DLC Qualified Product List comes a short time after the listing of ETi’s backlit LED recessed troffers, illustrating the momentum ETi Solid State Lighting is creating with the introduction of multiple high efficiency LED lighting products this year. We expect to qualify additional sizes and CCT options for linear tubes this year to complete our rapidly expanding linear LED tube product offering.”

ETi’s 7 Watt, 500 Lumen, CCT 3000K, Dimmable G25 lamp (Part number 52028111) is now ENERGY STAR® rated. Coming on the heels of the second quarter 2013 introduction of four new ENERGY STAR® rated products, the G25 product further demonstrates ETi Solid State Lighting’s commitment to its ENERGY STAR® partnership. The UL damp rated G25 offers exceptional performance for precision lighting applications, while reducing energy and maintenance costs when compared with conventional light sources. Typical applications for the 82CRI G25 lamp include chandeliers, pendants, bathroom vanity lights, accent lighting, and general decorative lighting for residential, office, retail, restaurant, school, hospital, and hotel/motel interior locations.
