Corbett Lighting Wins “Lighting Manufacturer of the Year” Awardat the 22nd Annual ARTS Award Gala

Luxury Lighting Manufacturer Honored with Industry’s Most Prestigious Award

Corbett Lighting, luxury lighting manufacturer for more than 40 years, won the “Lighting Manufacturer of the Year” Award at the 22nd Annual ARTS gala, held on January 22 during the Dallas International Lighting Market and the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.  In partnership with the Dallas Market Center, the Accessories Resource Team (ART) has hosted the prestigious Annual ARTS Awards program for the past 20 years, and to be nominated is one of the highest of honors in the industry.

“Winning ‘Lighting Manufacturer of the Year’ is truly a thrill for me and my team,” said Steve Nadell, president of Troy-CSL Inc., which includes Corbett Lighting. “Being acknowledged by industry peers and ARTS further cements our position in the lighting industry as the go-to source for high-end lighting products that exude style, elegance and quality.”

As a nominee, Corbett Lighting submitted the Diva Chandelier, as it encapsulates the sophisticated elegance and quintessential luxury found in every Corbett Lighting fixture. Corbett Lighting also submitted a handmade, customized binder that included extensive background information including their company history, product offerings, manufacturing capabilities and public relations and marketing initiatives.

“Corbett Lighting’s 40-plus years in the industry have positioned us as the leader in lighting design, innovation and style,” added David Littman, CEO of The Littman Group. “Our unyielding dedication to quality craftsmanship, customer service and a loyal dealer-distributor network nationwide has enabled us to be the recipient of such an award. We are honored and humbled to be named ‘Lighting Manufacturer of the Year’,” Littman concluded.

The ARTS Award process takes a full year; an independent panel of judges was selected in February 2010 and a call for nominations ran from March–June 2010. Through an online ballot system, retailers and industry professionals nominated decorative accessory manufacturers, product designers and sales representatives. Nominations were announced in August 2010 and finalists were asked to submit their entries in November.

Corbett Lighting is part of The Littman Group, which includes: Corbett Lighting, Troy Lighting, Hudson Valley Lighting, CSL (Creative Systems Lighting), Troy Lighting Contract Hospitality and Troy Landscape Lighting.
