The wireless system is powered by the Power Ring, a magnetic loop that gives off high frequency fluctuating magnetic field and induces power into LED light bulbs.

Aura LED light bulbs comes with clear glass, frosted glass and crackle glass options, and each is paired with a multi-coloured bulb design.

In addition, the lighting system includes an App which allows you to turn all the bulbs on and off, set schedules and timers on the go through Aura Power Ring's WiFi.

Internet of Things is coming your way to light up your Christmas tree. Well, perhaps not quite yet. Aura lighting system is only in prototype form at this point, and while the developers were raising funds for production, you won't be able to get Aura on your tree until October of next year.

The Aura’s Kickstarter project has so far raised US $10,514 out of its US $50,000 goal.
