Batman Series HV LEDs Turn Heads at TILS

Price drop for LED lighting products has been a huge trend recently. One way in which manufacturers are able to reduce cost is through HV LEDs. LED manufacturers have been actively developing these products to stay competitive in the market.

Edison Opto's  booth at TILS 2014 attracted many visitors.

LED package manufacturer Edison Opto revealed their new HV LED series of packaging components during this year’s Taiwan International Lighting Show (TILS). Their new high powered HV LED products, uniquely named Batman, are for replacement of module 5630.

Cost reduction for LED fixtures is still dependent on LED components. Use of HV LEDs is able to decrease electric power costs. LumenMax Optoelectronics, subsidiary of Edison Opto, has released a new series of HV LED products which include small power 3022, mid power 5630, and high power 5050 HV LED products.

The Batman series garnered the most attention out of the HV LEDs showcased at TILS 2014. The Batman 5050 2W module is able to increase beam angle from 120 degrees to 140 degrees. In terms of lighting application, Batman 5050’s high pressure feature makes it suitable for use in bay lights, PAR lights, bulb lamps, G4, and G9 bulbs.
