Samsung Ultra HD LED TV 8S59 is Available in Indian Market at 27,00,000

On Tuesday, Samsung released its first Ultra HD (4K) LED TV 8S59 with a price-tag of 27, 00,000 in Indian market.

Atul Jain, Senior Vice President of Samsung India, who said during the launch event that the Timeless Gallery Design of the Samsung UHD TV meets the need of premium customers for Innovative design coupled with Best in Class performance. The UHD TV provides a resolution that is four-times higher than that of full HD TVs, and UHD screens offer enhanced clarity with rich colors.

The new Samsung television features 'Timeless Gallery Design' with metallic frame and boasts of a 4K resolution screen which is four times the resolutions than the current Full HD 1080p TV sets. It also comes with display enhancement technology to boost HD (720p) and Full HD (1080p) video content to Ultra HD (3840x2140p) quality.

Other striking feature is that it features built-in smart camera able to take input through facial recognition, hand gestures as well as voice commands. Samsung 85S9 TV packs 3D Hyper Real Engine and Dolby Digital Plus sound system.

The exorbitantly priced Samsung LED TV will be pitted against low-priced UHD (4K) TV from Sony BRAVIA LED Models - the 84-inch X Series KD- 84X900, the 65.0-inch X Series KD-65X90044 and the 55.0-inch X Series KD-55X9004A. It will also contest against its South Korean counterpart LG already launched the 84-inch LED TV LG 84LM9600.
