Seoul Semiconductor’s SunLike Natural Spectrum LEDs Adopted by Architectural Lighting Brand for Smart Lighting Applications

Seoul Semiconductor announced that it has achieved smart lighting design with SunLike Series natural spectrum LEDs in cooperation with Casambi Technologies; and it has been adopted for the Italian designed architectural lighting brand formalighting for a new product line which offers motorized luminaire with smart wireless controls.

The SunLike COB LED packages have been adopted by formalighting for the new fixtures in track mounted motorized spotlight range targeting lighting applications in museums, art galleries and commercial spaces. Adding the smart control system of Casambi, the luminaires can be wirelessly controlled via Bluetooth connection to change the beam angle and movements of the fixture.

The embedded SunLike Series LEDs deliver light that closely matches the spectrum of natural sunlight, optimized to natural light spectra and color rendering of CRI-97 to 100 of sunlight, and higher than the CRI- 80 of conventional LEDs. They also enable human-centric lighting, which is identified as a key light source for promoting human well-being.

“We are pleased to introducing the smart lighting with SunLike Series LEDs in cooperation with Casambi and formalighting in European market. We believe that the combination of the healthy light source LED and new technology with smart wireless control will provide consumers with both of significant vivid color benefits and well-being.”
