Loewe is launching a new Ultra HD OLED television called bild 7. The device introduces a new dimension of TV viewing with Loewe VantaVision.

bild 7 is Loewe’s first TV with OLED technology. The bright self-luminous pixels in the OLED display enable unequalled high contrasts, a much larger colour gamut, finer colour graduation and an unprecedented level of black compared to conventional LCD TVs. The new viewing experience combining the very latest state of the art OLED technology and Loewe’s legendary image processing software, is called Loewe VantaVision.

This term derives from the darkest substance ever created by man called VantaBlack®. It consists of tubular particles that reflect almost no light, but absorb up to 99 per cent of it. By using this special maximum black, space telescopes are calibrated and satellites camouflaged. The deepest shade of black has also created a new dimension for the visual arts - sculptor Anish Kapoor is the only artist allowed to work with this kind of colour. VantaVision from Loewe is inspired by VantaBlack®.

Perfection of sound and design

The theatre begins when switching on bild 7, the screen automatically moves upwards on a series of motors unveiling a slim and yet powerful soundbar. With an incredible output of 120 watts, from six drivers and four passive bass diaphragms, the device produces dynamic, precise, room-filling sound for an unprecedented entertainment experience. Switch off bild 7 and the screen silently lowers back down discreetly hiding the soundbar, leaving just the minimal glass screen visible.

With audio quality this good and integrated Bluetooth technology, it’s of course simple to stream audio content to bild 7 via a smartphone or tablet.

The design of the bild 7 is characterised by pure understatement. Aesthetically light and minimalistic. At less than 7 mm thick, the display is slimmer than most smartphones. Manufactured using the finest materials with an exquisite level of finish, Loewe bild 7 perfectly complements the world’s best interiors.
An elegant fabric conceals the connectors and cables on the rear of the TV allowing bild 7 to look great from 360 degrees enabling a wide choice of placement options with larger rooms.

The beautifully detailed and considered design also applies to the user interface which features sophisticated modern graphics and strong user centric design principles making operation of the TV a pure delight.

The new Loewe bild 7 will be released in September this year and comes in screen sizes of 55 and 65 inches with price points of 4990,- and 6990,- Euro. All TV devices are delivered with a wall bracket as standard. . A range of stunning co-ordinated stands, specially designed for bild 7, are available as options including motorised floor and table stands and a swivelling wall mount.
