Macroblock Aims At Smart Dimming for Public Buildings at GILE 2015

Smart lighting remains a popular topic at Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition 2015. Macroblock targets the lighting applications for public buildings instead of home lighting with the theme “Dimming Art”, bringing many eyeballs during the exhibition.

Public buildings such as parking lots, warehouses, factories, libraries, art galleries, museums, hospitals and office buildings require a large amount of lighting systems. Macroblock demonstrated LED driver ICs and lighting fixtures with flexible dimming options for different public lighting requirements, allowing visitors to experience the convenience and power conservation from smart dimming.

For LED light tube applications, Macroblock demonstrated auto-sensing LED T8 tubes and non-isolated, MOS-embedded LED driver ICs with two-step dimming functions (MBI6926, MBI6936).  Macroblock’s LED light tube solutions may easily realize dimming function with existing switch and most applicable for parking lots, factories, warehouses, and libraries to save energy.

For LED panel light applications, Macroblock demonstrated ambient light sensing LED panel lights and non-isolated or isolated MOS-embedded LED driver ICs with either digital/analog or two-step dimming functions (MBI6905, MBI6906, MBI6804) for over 20W lighting fixtures and most applicable for public buildings with daylighting design to adjust light levels to save energy, such as offices, libraries, and hospitals.

For LED bulb and down light applications, Macroblock demonstrated CCT-adjustable bulb, dimmable bulb and dimmable down light. For the driving solution, Macroblock also demonstrated non-isolated, MOS-embedded LED driver ICs with either digital/analog or two-step dimming functions (MBI6925, MBI6935, MBI6926, MBI6936) which are easy to realize the lighting fixture design with smart dimming function, and most applicable for partial dimming area, such as study rooms, galleries and meeting rooms.

In addition to AC/ DC LED controllers, Macroblock also exhibited DC/DC LED converters for various lighting applications. For stage lighting or wall washers, Macroblock demonstrated LED driver ICs (MBI6661, MBI6662, MBI6655) to ensure reliable system with fast dimming response to attract eyeballs. For commercial indoor lighting applications, Macroblock demonstrated LED driver ICs (MBI6653, MBI6656, MBI6663) with digital/analog dimming functions to provide flexible dimming to save energy and fulfill different light levels for mood and ambience. For automotive lighting applications, Macroblock demonstrated LED driver ICs (MBI6655, MBI6656, MBI6663), providing reliable and compact circuit design to ensure the safety of automotive lighting systems.
