Revolution Lighting To Offer Seesmart LED Lamps Through Staples and Quill Online Stores

Revolution Lighting Technologies, Inc. announced today that it will offer its Seesmart™ brand LED household and PAR lamps through the Staples.com and Quill.com online retail stores.

Revolution Lighting’s Seesmart LED lamps are designed to replace inefficient incandescent and compact fluorescent lamps in homes and offices. These LED lamps will save consumers and small businesses up to 80% in energy usage and costs compared to conventional lamps and do not include any mercury, lead, or other environmental contaminants.

“Staples and Quill are ideal partners to drive adoption of our energy-saving Seesmart LED lamps among consumers and small businesses,” said Robert V. LaPenta, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Revolution Lighting Technologies. “While our focus has been and will continue to be on the commercial, industrial and municipal markets, we see additional opportunities to grow our business through these channels. Consumers and small businesses are increasingly looking for lighting solutions that reduce their energy costs and help them go green without sacrificing lighting quality – these lamps will allow them to do so.”

The Seesmart line of lamps are ENERGY STAR listed and include A19 lamps to replace standard 40W and 60W incandescents, as well as PAR 20, 30 and 38 lamps and MR16s. The lamps will be sold in three-packs and offer a robust five-year manufacturer’s warranty. The product is expected to be available on Staples.com in early August and on Quill.com later in the third quarter.
