Lighting by Gregory 2014 Interior Design Competition is Open for Submissions

NYC’s largest and oldest lighting showroom hosts a competition to design the historic showrooms newly expanded hospitality / meeting space.

Lighting by Gregory is pleased to announce the #LBGDesignCompetition, an interior design contest for new and established interior designers.  As part of Lighting by Gregory’s expansion of their 8,500 sq. ft. showroom, the #LBGDesignCompetition will give entrants an opportunity to showcase their talents by crafting a design for the new multi-use area in the historic showrooms second floor. 

The new space will include a multi-functional area for hospitality events, educational sessions and corporate meetings.  The applications for this incredibly versatile space are endless and provide designers a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity. The finalist will have the ability to showcase their award-winning work before thousands of industry professionals, while further establishing themselves as designers in the competitive Manhattan market.

The interior design competition is currently open for submissions and established and emerging design professionals are encouraged to participate.  Entries will be accepted until the end of November and the winning project will receive a $1,500 American Express gift certificate with additional prizes awarded for second and third place.

A public gallery on the contest finalist submissions will allow entrants to share their submittals with their social networks and viewers to select and share their favorites.
