Revolution Lighting Supports Buy American Act and Collaborates with SENSORWORK to Expands Lighting Control Capability

Revolution Lighting Technologies announced that it will expand its rNET lighting controls system capabilities through the integration of the control sensors by SENSORWORX. The partnership with SENSORWORK is also in line with the company’s strategy of supporting Buy American Act (BAA) and Trade Agreement Act (TAA).

Based in Connecticut, USA, SENSORWORK produces sensors and controls for lighting products for energy saving. Revolution Lighting said that the solutions of SENSORWORX allows rNET to further expand its overall lighting control solution capabilities for its customers. SENSORWORX products have been uniquely designed with microprocessors to enhance passive infrared and acoustic occupant detection technologies. The SENSORWORX product line, made exclusively in the U.S., will integrate with Revolution Lighting’s rNET lighting controls system to offer a simple, flexible and open approach to lighting controls, making it easier for organizations to design and implement a system, custom tailored to current needs and adjustable in the future.

According to Revolution Lighting, the partnership also continues its initiative to feature products made in the U.S., expanding its overall product offering with Buy American Act (BAA) and Trade Agreement Act (TAA) solutions. The company has been a lighting supplier of the U.S. federal government. Orders from public-sectors in the U.S. have boosted the growth of the company.

“We are pleased to partner with SENSORWORX, another great tech company here in Connecticut, to further strengthen the capabilities of our advanced rNET lighting controls platform,” said Robert V. LaPenta, CEO and Chairman, Revolution Lighting. “We are committed to the continued expansion of our product lines offering BAA & TAA solutions, and to ensure that we offer only highest quality LED lighting and controls solutions available for our customers.”

Revolution Lighting revealed its expansion plan of its Simi Valley, California facility in August. The plan also supports the growth of its BAA/TAA-approved product line.
