In Case You Missed It – Littman Brands at BDWEST

Another show has come and gone, and BDWest was a great experience for our lighting clients. Judging from the attendance at the show, it appears the hospitality design market remains strong.

The contract division of Littman Brands is comprised of three well-known brands: Corbett Lighting, Troy Lighting and Hudson Valley Lighting® – each designed with a unique aesthetic. On display at the show were chandeliers, pendants and sconces, all using the latest in LED technology.

BORLAND

(Littman Brands/ LEDinside)

Borland Rock crystal, hewn from distant mountains, bejewels the center of Borland’s glamorous sunburst. The starburst mirror rose to prominence in France and Belgium; it has since become a staple in rooms looking to add an accent with dynamic energy and a suggestion of luxury. Borland answers this same need, but its opulence is heightened by the glossy dome of its central quartz setting. The beautiful sconce is offered in an aged brass or polished nickel finish.

PIEMONTE

(Littman Brands/ LEDinside)

Handmade textured glass panels silhouette graceful, sculptural branches in the Piemonte collection – resulting in a piece as beautiful inside as out. Piemonte’s branches are hand-forged from wrought iron and finished in rich royal gold. Its glass is etched with a pattern reminiscent of tree bark, adding to the naturalistic, wood-like theme of the piece. Piemonte is offered as a four, eight or twelve-light pendant and as a coordinating two or three-light sconce.

Troy Lighting
APOLLO

(Littman Brands/ LEDinside)

Upscale sophistication intersects with industrial design in the new Apollo collection from Troy Lighting. An architecturally inspired chrome inner framework features two layers of candelabra lamps, surrounded by a layer of plated smoked glass and rows of solid glass rods, which refract the double layers of light in a spectacular display.

The fixture is suspended from each corner with aircraft cable that originates from an iron and polished chrome canopy, providing a mirrored effect of the fixture below. Offering fluid elegance as well as geometric appeal, Apollo is finished in dark bronze with polished chrome and stainless accents and is available in an array of pendant sizes, including a nearly 50" island piece, as well as a flush mount and coordinating sconce.
