Dutch Lighting Brand Interlight Joins Gooee’s Platinum Innovation Partnership Programme

Interlight is the third lighting manufacturer to sign up to the Gooee Platinum Innovation Partner programme. This IoT development partnership enables Interlight full and priority access to the Gooee platform for non-commercial use, dedicated support, access to Beta hardware and full use of the Gooee’s IoT Test Lab for long-term testing.

Gooee, an IoT pioneer and the ‘data brain’ for building activity, is the first enterprise IoT ecosystem that offers a unique ‘full-stack’ wireless lighting control, data and analytics platform, to unlock the smart buildings market at scale. Interlight is a division of Jacs. Koopman B.V., a well-established company with a 70-year history in the Dutch Electronics market, and an innovative, leading lighting brand with offices in the Netherlands and Germany.

Neil Salt, MD and co-founder of Gooee says: “the Platinum Innovation Programme was launched to accelerate the integration of customer products with the Gooee IoT platform and enables members to work together with Gooee - as partners - rather than as suppliers and customers, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each others’ requirements and tailoring to those requirements. Gooee’s highly specialist teams incorporate IoT technology into partner offerings, providing skill sets and resources that previously never existed in the lighting industry.”

Casper Vulling, Owner and CEO of Interlight says: “We have been working with Gooee for three years now and have carefully followed every step of progress they have made. Our products have been tested at Gooee’s state-of-the-art Test Lab in St. Petersburg, Fl. for almost one year and we are confident that Gooee and Interlight will successfully launch our Gooee-enabled products in the Dutch building market during the second part of 2018. As a medium-sized company, this programme enables us to take on much larger competing brands and offer the most flexible and agnostic full-stack IoT proposition to our customers, guaranteeing them maximum flexibility.”

Salt added: “‘Building Intelligence Together’ is what Gooee stands for. We are very pleased to welcome Interlight as our third Platinum Innovation Partner in a European market that is becoming increasingly significant for Gooee.”

Under the terms of the agreement, both companies are defining a clear set of objectives for a period of 6-12 months. Gooee’s specialized Software, Hardware, Cloud, and Applications engineering teams will assist Interlight’s dedicated R&D and innovation team to reach the jointly set technology milestones. Both parties will also participate in joint marketing activities.

Gooee recently announced a pilot scheme with CBRE, the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. CBRE Amsterdam will be undertaking a trial of Gooee in 1Q18 to test the system’s commercial applications.
