Velodyne to Address How LiDAR Technology Enhances Safety for Autonomous Vehicles at IDTechEx

Velodyne LiDAR has announced that the company is going to present the future trend and development of LiDAR technology at IDTechEx Show. The discussions will focus on how LiDAR will enable advanced vehicle safety and performance for autonomous vehicles.

Velodyne LiDAR’s CTO, Anand Gopalan, and Director of Mechanical Engineering, Stephen Nestinger, will share their insights at the conference sessions discussing how LiDAR sensor involved in the performance and reliability required for autonomous vehicles to operate safely. Gopalan and Nestinger will discuss LiDAR’s role and importance in autonomous perception, illustrating the current state of LiDAR technology and its future outlook.

Gopalan will elaborate the potential of LiDAR for autonomous vehicles in level four and five, as well as its future development trend.
