Casio's Hybrid Projectors Provide Innovative Technology For The Classroom

Amid the busy holiday season, Casio America, Inc. is already looking ahead towards 2016 by providing educators with innovative tools to help improve the classroom experience. After the holiday gifts are unwrapped, Casio knows that educators begin to plan and shop for tools for the upcoming school year and beyond. To help, Casio's extensive line of LampFree® projectors, including the EcoLite™, Ultra Short Throw and SLIM models, provide educators with robust and innovative technologies that make an excellent addition to any classroom.

"Casio is committed to helping educators and students start the new year on the right foot by offering the highest quality LampFree projectors," said Joe Gillio, Senior Director Strategic Planning and Marketing of Casio's Business Projector Division. "The EcoLite, Ultra Short Throw and SLIM series are ideal choices for any 2016 classroom wish list because they come equipped with the innovative features that educators want, while also offering a lower total cost of ownership."

Casio's full portfolio of classroom projectors features LampFree technology. By combining a laser and LED light source, Casio projectors are a unique, high-brightness, mercury-free tool that uses half the amount of power per unit than its traditional lamp-based counterparts. These LampFree offerings save educators time and money because they require minimal maintenance and eliminate the cost of replacement lamps. Casio projectors have a 20,000 hours lifespan, which is the equivalent to approximately 18 years of school use. That means that schools can save nearly $2,500 when compared to traditional mercury lamp projectors. Additionally, in an industry where most projection lamps come with only a 90-day warranty, Casio backs its unique design with three to five years, depending on the projector.

EcoLite™ Series

Casio's EcoLite™ series combines a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to create intense brightness and a 20,000 hour projected lifespan, with little brightness degradation and constant operation. This projector also provides a 30 percent increase in LED light output, thus offering a greater increase in color spectrum, perfect for projecting images and lessons to students. Casio's EcoLite series produces 2700 lumens of brightness, and boasts XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, suitable for displaying content from video and computer sources.

SLIM Series

Casio's SLIM LampFree projectors are 1.7 inches thick, weighing in at an astonishing five pounds. In addition to Casio's hybrid light source, the SLIM lineup offers remote operation capable through Creston Roomview™, Intelligent Brightness Control, and wired LAN projection. Casio's SLIM series also features MobiShow® compatibility which enables educators to make presentations wirelessly via any smartphone, computer, or mobile device equipped with wireless LAN capabilities.

From now through March 18, 2016 (while supplies last), Casio is hosting an instant rebate program for select LampFree models including the XJ-M151, XJ-M251, XJ-M256, XJ-H1750, XJ-H2600, XJ-H2650, and XJ-UT310. Casio's rebates are available at local dealers and can range from $50-$200 off.
