Edison Opto to Debut Panel Lights and High bay Products at Light+Building 2014

Taiwanese LED lighting manufacturer Edison Opto will participate in the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and intelligent buildings. To answer this high profile lighting event, the chairman of Edison Opto, Mr. Jason Wu, will lead their sales and R&D team to attend this trade fair in person and showcase their latest LED products (from components, modules to high/low bay).

Edison Opto has introduced the high efficiency EdiPower II HM series which attracts the attention of industry since 2013. Recently, Edison Opto has upgraded the CRI value of HM series up to 90 and R9>50, which meet the CEC Title-24 specification for high quality LED lamps. This breakthrough makes HM series become a preferred choice of museum and hospital lighting where require high CRI light sources to present the actual color of objects. In the aspect of CCT control, Edison HM series products are grouped in 3-Step MacAdam ellipse which demonstrates Edison Opto’s capability of color consistency. Therefore, HM series are particularly suitable for applications requiring high color homogeneity, such as gallery, printing factory and stage lighting.

Recently, Edison Opto has released several direct-lit panel lights (600x600mm /300x1200mm /600x1200mm) which have high uniformity with no glare. Using the high efficacy component─PLCC 3528 as light source with secondary optical lens, the emitting angle of panel lights can be widened while expanding the illumination range. Moreover, as the LED efficacy has been increasing, the required quantity of LEDs per panel light can be reduced (up to 80%). Therefore, the Edison panel light has the advantages of high lm/$ and cost saving. It is the best choice for office lighting.

In addition to the commercial lighting, office lighting and residential lighting, Edison Opto also actively develops all kinds of high/low bay products for warehouse and industrial lighting. Recently, Edison Opto has launched the 100W high bay using Federal 3535 as light sources. Under 100W operation, the high bay can reach 10,000lm and it has the advantages of energy efficiency and long life time which can replace 400W mercury vapor lamp and save 75% of energy consumption. At present, Edison Opto provides two angles─55° AL reflector and the floodlight (125°) PC reflector. The 100W high bay can be applied in warehouse lighting, large outlet and gymnasiums. Besides, Edison Opto is developing the 200W high bay which can substitute for 1000W mercury lamp and save 80% of energy consumption. The 200W high bay is specifically designed for outdoor playground and stadium lighting, therefore; it is waterproof with IP67 level and its lifespan can up to 50,000 hours.

Edison Opto will be exhibiting at 2014 Light+Building from 30 March to 4 April, 2014, in Messe Frankfurt Fairground. To answer this high profile lighting event, a brilliant stand dedicated to LED lighting technology and unique LDMS lighting design solution service will be constructed to exhibit an astonishing array of power LEDs, new module products and SSL (solid state lighting) applications. Please come to visit us at booth E91 in Hall 4.2, and experience the latest developments in LED lighting technologies.
