MaxLite introduces value-driven LED linear strip fixture and retrofit kit

MaxLite, a renowned manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting solutions, has added two LED linear strip products to its indoor portfolio. The LS Series Strip Fixture and RS Series Strip Retrofit Kit are designed to replace fluorescent strip fixtures in new construction or retrofit projects with efficiency and ease.

Consuming as much as 50 percent less energy than traditional one- and two-lamp fluorescent T8 fixtures, the Strip Fixture and Retrofit Kit are DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Premium listed and Title 24 compliant. Both products offer lumen maintenance of 50,000 hours at L70 standards and come supported by MaxLite’s five-year limited warranty.

With its compact dimensions and architectural appearance, the LS Series Strip Fixture is ideal for a wide range of commercial, industrial, residential and retail settings, including size-restricted areas such as storage, utility areas and shops. The LS Series is offered in outputs of 2,750 and 4,000 lumens, achieving class-leading efficacy of 125 lumens per watt in 24- and 36-watt inputs. The 4-foot-long Strip measures less than six inches wide and four inches high, and may be surface, pendant or stem mounted.

The lightweight and easy-to-install Strip Retrofit Kit can be used to convert existing 4-foot and 8-foot fluorescent linear fixtures to LED in mere minutes. The kit’s universal design fits most 4.25-inch and 5.25-inch T8 and T12 fluorescent wide strips. Two 4-foot units may be combined with a simple bracket to retrofit 8-foot fixtures. The Strip Retrofit Kit is offered in lumen packages similar to its companion product.

“We are excited to provide customers with two new options for upgrading fluorescent strip lighting to LED that are extremely cost-effective and class leaders in efficiency,” noted Ramesh Raghavan, director of indoor product management.

Both products are dimmable using 0-10V controls and may be used in damp locations.
