Combined with the company’s proprietary violet LEDs and RGB phosphors, Kyocera’s high-color-rending LED lighting generates light which is close to the natural habitats of aquatic animals and plants. According to Kyocera, as the LEDs emit full-spectrum light mimicking the sunlight, the lighting products produce light with luminance uniformity without color separation, which is ideal for the growth of corals and other water plants.

Four types of Kyocera's aquarium LED lighting will be available to the Japanese market in the middle of August including Marine Blue light with the spectrum of sunlight at 2.5 meters below sea level, Aqua Blue light with the spectrum of sunlight at 11 meters below sea level, Natural White light which emits a spectrum of sunlight above ground and Deep Blue light for ornamental purposes
