ATG Electronics Launches DLC Certified Surface Mount Fixture for Gas Station Applications

ATG Electronics (ATG) is proud to introduce the DesignLights® Consortium (DLC)-qualified Lucent™ Nebula LED Gas Station Canopy, a low-profile surface mount retrofit fixture for fuel service applications. The slim three-inch profile enables versatile mounting and easy retrofit installation into existing single- or double-skin canopies.

“Just like the interstellar cloud, the new Nebula provides crisp bright light day or night to ensure safe and secure operations at service stations nationwide,” said James Steedly, vice president of Product Research and Development.  “The 120-watt Nebula offers a direct one-for-one replacement for the 400-watt metal halide fixtures commonly found in gas stations canopies across the nation. The easy-to-install fixture with a sleek, low-profile design  is sure to impress end users with its superior aesthetics and performance.”

Nebula offers an industry-leading L70-rated lifetime of 100,000 hours, offering nearly 23 years of maintenance free operations when in use for 12-hours each day. Listed on the DLC’s qualified products list, the 120-watt luminaire qualifies for national utility rebates of up to $175 per fixture. The 120-watt model is a direct replacement for a 400-watt metal halide fixture, saving up to 70 percent in energy consumption. Additionally, when energy savings combine with maintenance reductions, end-users will see a payback period in just two years.

The 5000K correlated color temperature (CCT) fixture offers superior lumen performance of 11,500, an incredible 95-plus efficacy and a high 80-plus color rendering index (CRI) to create ideal lighting levels for secure service station operation.

Its one-piece heavy-duty extruded aluminum construction uses a silicon seal to prevent rust, dust and insects. The Nebula uses a light-grade diffuser  and low-power LM80-rated LED chips to reduce glare, optimize thermal management properties and extend service life. A wide beam angle makes Nebula ideal for low ceiling gas station canopy applications.

The luminaire operates on 120- to 277‐volt electrical systems; a 480-volt option is available for special orders. The fixtures offer 0-10 volt continuous dimming to comply with California’s Title 24 legislation. Lighting Facts® specifications are available upon request. The luminaire is backed by ATG’s five-year limited warranty.

ATG’s Nebula is in stock and ready for quick shipment from coast to coast. ATG’s LED product portfolio also includes highbays, troffers, wall packs, canopy lights, area lights, flood lights, street lights, tubes, downlights, wall washers and lighting control systems.
