Acuity Brands, Inc. introduces LED versions of popular lantern-style Valiant™ (AVP) and American Revolution Deluxe (ARD) post top luminaires from American Electric Lighting®. To improve energy efficiency and reduce maintenance, the new AVPL2 and ARDL luminaires have been upgraded to include the latest LED light engines from Acuity Brands.
Incorporating utility grade standard features for greater value, both models are offered with 10, 20 and 30 Light Engine Module (LEM) LED systems delivering a wide range lumen packages to replace up to 150-watt high pressure sodium fixtures. The luminaires are available with 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000 correlated color temperature (CCT) and multiple distributions:
· ARDL Rain Replica Type II, III & V (acrylic or polycarbonate)
· AVPL2 Prismatic Type II (replaces II and III HID) & Type V (acrylic)
· AVPL2 Rain Replica Type II, III & V (acrylic or polycarbonate)

Valiant and American Revolution LED luminaires are easy to maintain and include features such as tool-less hardware options and easy access to electronic gear. Both models are fully controls compatible and suited to photocontrol solutions as well as the Remote Operations Asset Management (ROAM) system from Acuity Controls.
The LED luminaires are projected to operate virtually maintenance-free for 100,000 hours at 25ºC, with a rated driver life of 50,000 to 100,000 hours at 25ºC depending on the lumen package and voltage. Both LED models are CSA listed suitable for 30ºC ambient.
Valiant and American Revolution LED luminaires provide comfortable illumination for residential streets, parks and other public gathering areas, walkways and pathways.
