A new leak detailing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has surfaced, detailing various crucial specifications and improvements. The leak comes via well-known tipster Anthony (@TheGalox_), who shared details through his X account.

He claims the next-gen Galaxy Z Flip 6 will arrive with a bigger cover display. The post mentions higher RAM variants, upgraded cameras, battery capacity, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Solid Upgrade?
The tipster has claimed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will sport a 3.9-inch cover display. This is the same size we heard about last year as well. If true, it will be a noticeable improvement over the 3.4-inch cover display we get with the current-gen Galaxy Z Flip 5. The primary display on the inside will likely remain unchanged at 6.7 inches.

The choice of processor is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a flagship chipset. Interestingly, Samsung is said to offer 12GB RAM variants this time. You get only 8GB of RAM with the current-generation flip smartphone. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to offer a 50MP and 12MP dual rear camera setup. However, the tipster does not offer further details about the front camera.

The battery capacity is also expected to be 4,000 mAh in size, compared to the current 3700 mAh. In terms of the folding mechanism, Samsung could offer an improved hinge and internal layout.

Samsung will continue with the promise of seven years of OS upgrades and bundle the next-gen flip smartphone with Galaxy AI features. These aspects were first announced in the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year.


Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Launch Date
The latest leak does not mention the Galaxy Z Flip 6 launch date. Samsung is reportedly planning to hold the next Galaxy Unpacked event in July, which will be earlier than usual. The even is expected to showcase the new Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and Galaxy Ring.
