Wellypower consolidated revenues for 3Q10 totaled NT$2.27 billion

Recently, CCFL lighting maker Wellypower Optronics’3Q10 revenues made a new record. The consolidated total revenues went up NT$2.27 billion, gross profit was NT$270 million with a 12% gross margin. Also, pure income reached NT$171 million (US$5.53 million), up 694% sequentially, EPS was NT$1.01, and operating incomer was NT$142 million.

FSP made new record on 3Q revenues, to NT$4.482 billion

Power supply maker FSP Technology September revenues went up NT$1.553 billion (US$50.525 million), making its 3Q revenues to NT$4.482 billion to set a new quarterly record. And the strong results would keep conservative about the current quarter since most orders have been received in short term. FSP had an extensive portfolio ranging from applications in desktops, notebooks, industrial PCs, servers, LCD TV and monitors, STBs, health care, communications and LED lighting.

Amtran September revenues reached NT$5.53 billion, up 22.2%

Thanks to amid vendors actively replenishing inventory and launching promotions ahead of schedule to boost market demand, Amtran Technology reported September revenues had been up 22.2% sequentially to NT$5.53 billion (US$180.06 million) and 4.1% compared for 2009.Revenues for 3Q had totaled NT$15.2 billion, up about 5% sequentially. In September, LED-backlit LCD TV shipment share increased from 12% in the first half of 2010 up to 20% of its total shipments, overall flat-panel TV shipments in 3Q reached 1.05-1.1 million units.

ED packager Harvatek recently entered the supply chain for TV backlighting, and inventory adjustments by TV vendors had less affected on it. The company expected its September revenues will reach NT$400 million (US$12.67 million) and 3Q revenues got over NT$1 billion benefit from Japan-based TV vendors’ orders. As Inventory adjustments by panel makers and lower inventory of CCFL panels and CCFL TVs, most Taiwan LED packagers, chipmakers August revenues become lower than last month. LED chip packaging Unity Opto Technology August revenues slip 4.6% but up 58% on year to NT$670 million (US$20.979 million). Taiwan major LED packagers revealed financial reports in the first half of 2010. Among the peers, Everlight ranked the first with after-tax net earnings of NT$3.7 per share. Cree announced its annual revenue and annual net income. Its record revenue has achieved to $264.6 million for its fourth quarter of fiscal 2010, ended June 27, 2010. AIXTRON announced the financial results for the first half of 2010

AIXTRON did the positive business performance in H1/2010 due to the continuing healthy demand, beneficial volume effects, and a stronger US Dollar. Firstly, compared to H1/2009, the gross margin in H1/2010 was 10 percentage points higher at 53%.
