Linktec obtains the sole distribution right of AQBT’s high power LED Lighting fixtures in Taiwan

Linktec Technologies, manufacturer of various professional electronic connectors, teams up with world-class LED lighting firm, Applied Quantum Bright Technologies Co., Ltd., a company with rich professional expertise, for vertical integration and alliance. Linktec obtained sole distributorship of AQBT’s high power lighting fixtures in Taiwan. This alliance enriches Linktec’s product lines and services.

Headquartered in Tucheng City, Linktec Technologies has abundant experience in manufacturing and selling various professional electronic connectors since June 2002. Its products include HDMI connector, DVI connector, and the hottest products recently, such as USB3.0. Since its products have passed customers’ strict inspection standards and meet the needs for different applications, Linktec is recommended and approved by end users for its high reliability.

In meeting the energy-saving trend, the company expands its business venture and formally enters LED lighting business this year. The new department is executed by a team of outstanding experts with rich experience in the field, who engage in developing and exploring the LED lighting business. Linktec’s products include street lamp, scenery lamp, tunnel lamp, spot lamp, and other relevant light source applications. These products have passed tests of SGS and ITRI and have been promoted in Taiwan, China, Japan, South Asia, Europe, and America.
 
Applied Quantum Bright focused on solving the most difficult problem of high power LED luminaries which is the heat dissipation of the high power LED package. Based on the fundamental thermodynamic theory of the thermal conduction, the IR radiation and the heat convection, and through the innovative package design, the unique heat sink construction and the application of Infrared radiation coating material, problem of the heat dissipation was solved successfully. Furthermore, its design meets Taiwan’s national standard (CNS 15233) requirement of 75 lm/w for top level LED street lamps.

Owing to this alliance, Linktec obtains the backup of Applied Quantum Bright’s LED multi-chip core technology. Since its multi-chip LED array adopted a unique design of channeling the light, heat, and electric current separately and utilized the characteristics of the mechanical construction and material to highly increase its light extraction efficacy. After repeated testing, the products have been proved to have excellent luminous efficacy and heat dissipation efficiency. AQBT keeps the Tj within safety allowance and consequently increases the lifespan of the LED light source. The technology and mass production skills can be applied to various kinds of chip modules, including vertical electrode chips like Cree and SemiLEDs, lateral electrode chips from Osram, Samsung, and other local-made chips as well. This advantage allows Linktec to offer diversified solutions meeting different customers’ requests and expectations.
 
The partnership and cooperation allows Linktec to gain support in manufacturing and selling high power street lamps, as well as the technical backup from Applied Quantum Bright Technologies, including heat dissipation (Nano painting for speeding heat dissipation, high heat convection thin fin heat sink structure), optics (Bat wing secondary optical lens modules), and power management (power factor and AC/DC power conversion over 90% conversion efficiency). Moreover, the modularized lighting fixture will be easier in mass production and reducing the cost, and it can be conveniently retrofitted in various traditional street lamp fixtures. Thus, the original lighting fixture can be effectively re-used, which is in line with the environmental-friendly demand and resource-recycling.
 
Based on the sophisticated product design, thorough application of physics theory, practical experience in mass production and meeting the demand of the market, AQBT has delivered outstanding performance and achieved significant sales. In addition, these series products possess UL and many other safety approvals. Based on fully-integrated business model and confidence to overcome severe market challenges, these two foresighted companies collaborate in R&D, manufacturing and selling with mutual benefits. With the foundation of Linktec’s abundant experience in selling and manufacturing, Linktec will aim to reduce cost and bring customers more options and convenience.

In the near future, Linktec and AQBT will explore their cooperation from LED lighting to ”thermal connector” and continue to develop innovative products.
