Getting to Grips with New Lighting

There is "general and widespread" confusion among the British public when it comes to LED lighting, suggests Light IQ.

With the EU's ban prohibiting retailers from buying new stocks of incandescent 60 watt light bulbs now coming into full effect, consumers will have to adapt their usual shopping habits when it comes to lighting up their homes.

This isn't going to be easy says Victoria Lee, client relationship manager at Light IQ, with many homeowners reluctant to move away from traditional lighting.

It's something that shouldn't be feared as it'll bring benefits like huge savings on electricity costs.

Homeowners might take this as an opportunity to shift old lampshades and lamps into a self storage unit and buy new ones.

Light IQ is an independent lighting consultancy that supplies lighting schemes for residential and commercial properties.
